The Treatment Centers are a community of mental health professionals committed to providing the highest quality of clinical service at an affordable fee. When you become our client, careful attention is given to your particular needs and circumstances. Recommendations are provided to guide and inform you through the process of starting therapy and choosing treatment options to best serve your treatment goals.

Therapy services are provided by a staff of professional clinicians from the disciplines of social work, psychology, psychiatry and counseling.

Who Seeks Therapy?

Adults or families who:

  • are anxious or depressed
  • suffered a loss or experienced a trauma
  • face a difficult problem
  • cannot work effectively
  • want to communicate more effectively
  • wish to change behavioral patterns

Children who:

  • seem irritable, preoccupied, distracted, withdrawn
  • cannot learn effectively
  • are anxious or depressed
  • suffered a trauma or a loss

Eugene Meyer III Treatment Center

In 1975, the Washington School of Psychiatry developed a program of clinical services with help from Eugene and Agnes Meyer.

Adele Lebowitz Center for Youth & Families

The Adele Lebowitz Center for Youth & Families was established in 2000 in order to expand the clinical services to work with children and adolescents.

Fees

Fees are determined on a sliding fee scale according to ability to pay.  Many insurance plans cover a part of the fee. Our staff may assist you in obtaining insurance reimbursement by billing your insurer on your behalf. Initial consultation is affordably priced and if you feel you cannot continue services with the Treatment Centers, our staff will help you find other community resources as needed and as appropriate.

Please inquire if there are special language requirements which we can sometimes accommodate. The international staff is sensitive to a variety of cultural factors, (e.g. race, ethnicity, class, gender, and sexual orientation) and can provide therapy in English, Spanish, and other languages.
